My son spotted this purple and white 914 racer out at Buttonwillow this last Saturday, Oct. 19. Wondered if it was anyone on here?

I remember his car. It used to be Royal Blue in color. He was selling it

Looks like one bad ass race car

I saw this racer at Auto Club Spdwy last year doing skid pad ride-a-long with local PD. It had a 'Keytar' in the passenger seat (yes, you read that right) lol.

I see a lot of booger welds and lots of half baked rigging going on in there...

I get that race cars are sometimes cobbled together out of necessity, but those quick on track fixes should be fixed correctly once she gets home and before the next race.

It can't be a SBC, it says "Porsche" on the valve covers...

LOL took me more than a couple secs to realize what I was lookin' at there...

I was wondering about the Porsche valve covers also. old 928 engine?

I know terry. That is a chevy 383 stroker with a dry sump. 500hp.
