Yes, I brought one in and was going to use it. For the 75-76 I was going to have to reverse the tab mount to fit the plastic tank neck. They are spot on except for the mount for the canister on 70-74.

I got one for my car and other that the missing mount for the charcoal canister it was a perfect fit.
I wasn't entirely happy with the paint finish on mine so I repainted it.

dont fall for their free shipping rebate ...its garbage..dealing with fkrs right now.....
they drop ship from so many places , it bumps your shipping,, you pay shipping and go here for rebate and its $15 membership,,,never 100% rebate yet....not happy..
saved on $800 of parts $75...but with the loss of the free shipping and the constant 1 or 2 items per box...and the headache of 5 instead o 6 head gaskets..its not worth it...buyer be ware
shipping was 37.82

So I know a lot of folks here are on Thesamba as well. I think it's time 914world has the "Official whine about 914s and parts for sale thread". It's one of my favorite threads in the split Bus forum. Just about anything from "GR & Sons" would likely fit in the thread but sometimes they outdo themselves.
https://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/det....php?id=2329768I get original versus aftermarket but the feedback on the new gas tanks seems positive so far. Of course the originals from GR no doubt do have original rust inside, that's gotta be worth something I suppose.....
