Taking a browse through the 914 rubber site and I’m not sure what the difference between these two would be.

The one on the right is stock design where the fluid supply goes through metal fittings into those grommets. One on the left is the modified version that eliminates the grommets and you just hose clamp the supply line to the connector hoses. It's supposed to be easier to install. I've only installed the OEM style version.
Ive installed both, IMO the OE was easier.

I bought one, even though I don't need it. Next year I'll be running two 914's my baby and the wife's will be a summer DD. If the lad ever finishes his 914 then that will be three, plus you never know if a customer will need one, so I figured it made sense to have one on the shelf.
