If these will work with a 1974 2.0, I’ll take them.

Are these thicker and stronger than the newly produced tubes?

I bought a "new" set and went back to my originals cause the new one were so easily crushed.

What brand new ones did you buy ? Dansk ?

They are quite sturdy. I have knocked out the dents by forcing them onto a round manderal and they are not easily damaged.
