The install instructions on the Koni struts are poor to say the least. Is there an install thread on these or any tips I should know before I put these in. I read something about filling the housing with antifreeze, should this really be done? Additionally there are two rubber bushings and a metal rod that cone with the struts. I assume this is to replace the bushing in the strut mount? Any help or direction to a real install instruction would be great.

Comes with extra parts. Thinking instructions calls for 50cc of oil.Just mount them up like the Boges you took out.

That sleeve and rubber bushings are for something else. No oil or antifreeze needed.

A small amount of antifreeze helps transfer heat from the insert to the liquid and to the housing. Shocks get hot under bumpy conditions. Off road shock temps can hit 300 F. They use remote reservoirs.
