I’d agree that Ben’s heat exchangers with a good muffler will help civilize the car (heat and defrost are good things), and EFI would tame any induction noise.

100% agree.. @jwinner has stock heat exchangers and one of my mufflers on his hot 2.7 with carbs.. I cant tell you how nice it drove.. Not intrusive at all.

This car just needs 3-5k to make really easy to drive..

Isn't it odd that it doesn't have air filters? Why would you run them without something? Seems like a recipe for a worn out motor.
