I have a welder - sitting in a box. Do I need one of these?
Depends on if it is a Mig unit or TIG, and if you got the gas kit. Most of the kits come with a basic regulator.

It's mig. I'll have to check the box. Bought it on sale a year ago. Haven't gotten very far.
