Hello,

when I got my 1972 914 1.7L the previous owner had put on a Bursch muffler and left out the rear valance. I just installed an OEM muffler, and would like to put the valance back on. Does anyone have one? Also, are there differences between various year models, and does it matter which kind of OEM muffler I have put on? (The muffler I have may be from a 74 for all I know...)

I am in Madison, WI, so if I could find one close by so as to not pay a ton for shipping would be even better...

Thanks,
Andrei.

They do vary based on exhaust, Any stock will have the hole on the drivers side.
I do stock a fiberglass version if you can't find a good one. It's in black gel coat and uncut (as some run the ANSA exhaust that is lower) I have one on my 72 with ANSA.

These are double layup fiberglass so they are not flimsy like a few out there.
Even put it on sale for you.
