I bought SS brake lines and was planning on installing in the tunnel prior to welding on the floor. I forgot to install the line.
The bend from the hole in the rear to the tunnel is sever and I can't see how I would be able to make that double curve.
Has anyone done this or am I stuck with soft lines?
I'm getting old I hope I didn't forget anything else!!

It wiggles in. Having a spotter helps and use lube on the line so it slides in the rubber grommet.

Did you remove the right rear tire? If not, do so. That will give you the room to rotate the line enough so it will move forward past that difficult spot. I remove that front grommet until I have the line pushed past the bulkhead. Once it is in place I lube the line and grommet to help slide it back into place. Robert ( I forget his handle) is the guy that sells the SS fuel lines here on the West Coast and he has a video showing how to rotate the line when installing it.

I do it with all 4 wheels on the ground but engine out. I’ve done 3 cars. Takes 5-10 minutes. I get all mine from Chris Foley -tangerine racing.
I have the ss fuel lines in. You are correct very easy. I left out the SS "BRAKE" line.
If you are talking about the short double curve line that goes through the firewall into the back seat area, I’ve done that line in my car. It twisted in differently than I expected but once you get it right, you realize it’s easy. If I’m not talking about the correct one, I still know you can replace every line with the floor installed and without forcing anything. Patience is needed but you will get it.
