Anyone going to the Daytona 24 hours?

I'm working in Orlando the week before and after so I'm thinking about staying over the weekend and attending the race.

I'll be there with a buddy. Leaving the girls at Home. My 3rd time in 4 years. Heading over to the PCA tent some time during the race

I'll pm you guys to set up time and place to meet up if you are interested.

Darn it... I'll be Miami later that week.

I mean, it could be worse. I'll be in Minnesota with below freezing temps and cloudy skies.

Can you change your plans and fly into Daytona early. No need for a rental car, I can pick you up at the airport and play chauffeur.

I will have my 914 parked in the Grassroots area.

I'll be attending and will have my car in the Porsche corral.
Leaving in the Daytona Beach area does have its advantages.

Steve Limbert made it to Daytona. He will run his cars in the 24 minutes of Daytona Saturday morning. I’ll post more photos and shoot some video to post later.

Great car! I love the flairs. I was hoping we could meet but I didn’t catch you at your car. I had mine just across at the Grassroots parking. Where did you get the hat that was on the seat? I want one.

Sorry we didn't meet, and thanks for the complement on the car. It is a work in progress.
As for the hat, I got it from Oscar here in the world. Do a search under "Oscar" let me know if you can't find him. He did the 50 States Christmas give away.
