the senior council of elders of the car restoration world walked me back from my path of insanity. I have a more sane, approved by the elders.

Wanted to buy: solid and rust free stock roller or running 914. Not looking for a
Show car, something I can spend the summer getting road ready with my 82 yo father and 20 yo nephew as a summer family activity. Nephew like to work on cars as does my father. My budget for this is maximum of $6k.

Doesn’t need to be working or complete. I’ve got a parts car and lots of spare parts.
Shipping is not a problem.
Let me know what you have. Please PM or email me.

Still looking, modified my WTB above. Really appreciate those that contacted me and
helped redirect my plan.

Smart choice. When I can find a solid titled shell I will be doing the same. Transfer all of the good parts to decent shell. Goodluck if you need anything you have my email.

Thanks. Looking for one in original body style, no wide body of similar. I’ll update my ad.
That’s a very nice garage setup.
Appreciate the offer.

Shipping from the west coast will probably be at least 1k. Mine was $950 from Utah 3 years ago.

Way cheaper than rust repair.

Faster too.
Stuckon914
I’m expecting shipping from California will be between $1-$2k. Well with it for me. I’ve got plenty of rust on my 73 for when I’m ready.

Still looking.

If you are still looking, I have one I might sell:

1973 2.0l, unmolested, unmodified, in driver condition, COE, I have owned it since 2001, always garaged in my dry northern Nevada garage, driven very little since then, about 3,000 miles.

Asking $10,500. obo. If we can come to an agreement, I'll drive it to your house.
Send me your email address and I'll forward pictures and full disclosure.
