I think it's the same, just different countries have slightly different terms.

The one with the VW logo is for the peasant drivers, the other one is for real Porsche owners ...

driving.gif Driving Manual is broken down into the following sections:

Operating
Care & Lubrication
Maintenance & Adjustments: service intervals, compression testing, valve adjust, replacing plugs, points, timing adjust, bleeding brakes, clutch adjust, headlight adjust,
General Description: Engine, Transmission, Front Axle, Rear Axle, Steering, Brakes, Body, Ventilation System
Tech Data: VIN Plates, Paint Code, Chassis, Specs for Engine, Transmission, Electrical, Weight, Suspension, Fuel System Acceleration Curves, Transmission Diagram.....

I think a lot of the tech specs can be found on p914.org

agree.gif Seems obvious looking at the manuals. Owner's manual is for North American market where the car was sold as Porsche. Driver's manual is for ROW where the car was sold as VW-Porsche.

I'm not touching the "peasant driver" theory. lol-2.gif
