I bought it 3 years ago here on 914 world. I have the certificate of authenticity.
It's a complete car. The Engine was running and i drove it to my barn( 3years ago).
Now the kids grew up and time is running.

Your local price is way higher... don’t understand.

How did this LE car wind up in Germany. LE cars were only imported into USA. An LE in Germany I would think would already have been restored.

YES LE's were sold in Europe only they were called 914 GT and 914 SL in Japan.

This was formerly a Texas car. It went there on a boat a couple years ago, and there are currently several 914LEs in Europe.

Thanks Jeff. Per that other post were LE cars (Can Am ) actually sold in Europe. It wouldn’t make sense.

Yes the above is true. 914LE's are the USA market version, but the 914GT and 914SL were sold in Europe and Japan. Details of both are on the 914 LE website.
George at AA has the very special and only one I know of in existence, Japan version in his collection in Marrieta GA.

Do you have the original TX title that would have come over on the boat?

Yea, it’s sort of funny that shipping across the Atlantic is the same as shipping across the USA. I guess boat space is cheaper than trailer space.
