Preparing to bolt on the doors and was wondering did the hinge bolts going to the car have washers? Thanks in advance
two actually per bolt

PET says door hinge is fastened by M8 bolt (length not specified but I think the bolt is 27mm long and pointed to facilitate installation), a lock ring (aka spring washer) and a flat washer (A 8,4 - which I deduce is 8mm OD and 4mm ID)

Another thought. To help installing doors, use one M8 stud in the top and bottom mountings in the door jamb to help you locate and steady the door while you put in the other bolts in.
You can make a M8 stud from a M8 bolt with the hex head cut off. This concept is not mine but borrowed from another thread using this technique to install the bumpers. Installing the doors can almost be a one man job using this technique.

Thanks for the heads up. I have come across their parts diagrams multiple times when Googling parts but didn’t know how to enter the site.
Their diagrams are much better definition than my PET PDF and easier to navigate.

Yeah great idea!!! I always use that method when I’m putting a head back on so i don’t ding up the gasket. Thanks
Referring to my post #4 in this thread. My being dumb!
The PET description for the washer is A8,4. It has now dawned on me that the Germans write our decimal point (period . ) as a comma( , )
So 8,4 is our 8.4 which I guess is the ID of the washer, 8.4mm
