Has anyone seen this dual coil spring setup before?

Full Version: Dual coil springs?
Aren't springs in this arrangement supposed to have opposing twist directions so they don't risk the inner and outer coils binding?
Strange setup. Interesting that someone bothered to do something like that.

It does not look like a home built kit. It looks to be factory/mass produced(what factory, I have no idea, but factory none-the-less)
