So this is the first decent day that I've had time to put the newly acquired '74 on jack stands and get to know her a little bit. I pulled off the rocker covers, and a tire and took some pics.

The worst rust I found was a brace on each rocker and a fairly massive hole under the driver's side seat/base of the firewall near the air deflector. All of this had been disclosed by the P.O.

Also, briefly scanned the underside and got the transaxle and engine numbers. By the way, one of the trailing arms clearly had a "K" stamped on it. Is that a Karmann stamp or does anyone know?

"K" on Trailing Arm

Spitball'n with some Minilites.

I'll add some more later when I figure out how to orient them all correctly.

Gave up.....no matter how I edit these, there's no rhyme or reason how they appear??

The jack tube cover flange looks different from original. You might want to investigate what is behind it.
