I saw this Blue 914 on several posters on the internet, just wondering if anyone knows anything about the driveline build. From the carbs I would assume it’s a air cooled 6, 3.0-3.2-3.6L. Anyhow pretty cool build! Would love to see more pics of the interior and overall build. Thanks

Reminds me of the guy from Hood River OR. I know, not a lot of help, but maybe triggers something.

The rear license plates DA shows it was registered at the time of the photo shoot to a License Dealer in Oregon, not sure yet what county.

The car belonged to Steve Demosthenes. He passed away a few years back. His business was Route 30 classics. He bought and sold Porsches, the shop was located in Mosier, Oregon. He also sold coffee and ice cream out of the shop. It was a stop on one of the 914 gatherings here in Oregon.

Thanks boxstr for passing on that information, my condolences to Steve and his family. I’m sorry I never got a chance to meet him or view some of the classic cars he sold through Route 30 classics. GodSpeed. I will have to take the time to drive up and tour his business

Thanks for resurfacing the data on this car! A lot of thoughtful ideals went into the building of this car as it evolved into what it is today! I’m sure it has inspired a lot of other 914 builders. To the many 914 owners who have a dream and not scared to pursue them! Thank you
