My Norma 54mm neck clamp has gone missing sometime during plating so I need to source another. Please let me know what you have out there.

Photos were borrowed from another post but he found one already.

Thanks

Where on the car is this clamp used?

Filler neck for 914-6.

I suspect this same clamp is use on other Porsche or VW applications so hopefully someone has one in a box.

I have several other of this style Norma clamp but they are all too small or much larger.

Thanks

It's a 65mm, I'm guessing, PM me if interested

73 914 if it were a 54mm I'd be all over it.

I have one this size too, I think its from a blower motor or heater part but it won't clamp down tight enough unfortunately.

Many thanks for the offer and I'll keep looking.

I think the blower motor clamp for the 4cyl is also that size

I believe the blower clamp is larger, 54mm is only 2" but maybe someone can measure one.

Thanks for the tip

Hey Robert
Have you asked on the S registry and the other regular suspects ?
Same as a 911 AFAIK
All the parts that we had and took for granted have slowly disappeared.
Now we're shopping like everyone else.
I wish I had an extra to send you.

PS what was the engine I sold you so long ago ?

These are hard to find for the 914-6 filler neck.
I got mine from these guys....my "go to" for tough parts to find.

http://www.retroautomotiveproducts.com

They have come through on everything for me and parts are "quality" parts too. Never received any junk from them.
Nice guys as well.

Hi guys I appreciate the leads, will keep searching. Yes I posted on S Registry to widen the net.

Hi Rory that was a 1968 911 engine with the front smog pump drive.

That engine powered my daily driver 914-6 conversion for many years having been rebuilt up to 2.2 S specs.

I sadly sold that engine for a 2.7 upgrade so its likely running around somewhere here in So Cal I suspect.

If you put the part number into an Ebay saved search (that is if you use Ebay) it seems one shows up about every six months.

One NOS one sold last month for $134
