Is there a easy way to attach the clips that hold the control cables to the control boxes?

There are pliers with a notch just for that kind of thing. I don't know what they are called.

Try small pliers. these are 5"

I just use needle nose pliers to squeeze them until they clip. Never had much of a problem.

It's not impossible. I used to bullseye womp rats in my T-16 back home, they're not much bigger than two meters.

I've used needle nose too. Although I like specialty tools...

Leave it to the Germans to develop a unique securing clip that requires a unique tool...
