I don't believe this is a 914/6 part
It is a 911 part, and I'm not sure of which year.

the dipstick is more of a template
in that it has been previously repaired or damaged?

but I wouldn't recommend using it as it will at some point break and the bottom will fall in to a tank.

I can also sell a brand new 914 rubber replacement dipstick
exact same length, great plating, and no structural concerns

length from the top notch to the low level is 11.25
this is identical to a 911 style filler neck (pictured)

however, there are pictures on this site of 914/6's that use this length of dipstick
I now believe there is some variation out there

I know it will fit a 911 (not sure which years)
and It matches with some people's 914/6

it was sold as a accurate reproduction for a 914/6
I know it was expertly reproduced and finished

please measure your car/application and see if this is the correct length you need

I researched the world threads extensively
this was produced by 914 rubber, copying an original -6 part

I have found threads on this site where some stock -6 cars used this length

others did not use this length

so if someone wants a brand new part that is this 11.25 length
my price is 13$less than buying it new, and I've offered free shipping
