Someone used to make a kit ti replace the tortion bar spring with struts kit, like a 911 hood.

Does anyone remember Who made them, contact information, etc.

Thanks, went to his site. Tried to order, every time I filled out the form, as soon as I hit enter, it erased the whole form. Left him a voicemail.

I put them on front and back on my 75 and really like the look. The one thing I did do was create some supportive metal pieces where the strut attaches to the former spring location, just to stiffen that up a bit.

The original set up with those torsion bars with A LOT of tension are hard (dangerous?) to disassemble and reassemble. Parts are worn out in most 914s by now. The brackets on the body rip off at some point due to all the stress. Craig has a MUCH better idea than Porsche had.
