Don’t 914 rear calipers all have a center adjustment mechanism?

Also, no parking brake provision.

Look like early 911. How's the e-brake hooked up (if there is one)?

That appears to be a 911 rear caliper without a parking brake, but need more photos to confirm. Certainly you should have an adjuster on the nose of that caliper if it was 914.

No parking brake so makes sense.

Years ago Dave Shepard told me some guys put BMW 320i calipers on the front, and put the 914 fronts on the back. This looks like 914 front to me

yup hit it on the money, a racer trick to get more braking

I've run the same since we dumped the vented rear discs on the race car in 2003

our rules require "factory brakes"
this is very common in stock/vintage type racing without heavy brake mods allowed

you need to use the early style of front to get the correct offset, and still a spacer or washer to get the offset perfect.
