It's been a while since I took it a part. I think the wires at rear of the shifter are for console gauges. What about the other ones and that round harness connector? Click to view attachment

Round connector goes to EGR counter box in passenger footwell. Long brown and green pair looks like rear window defogger. Long browns with red/black go to interior light. Cut blue is instrument lighting for heater knob.

Yep Was just in there on mine yesterday and took photos. "Loose" blue/black and brown wires go to the heater fan/defroster indicator lights just behind the shifter.
