Ah, the good old days. I’ve got one of our old Mid-Engineering catalogs on top of my desk. I still remember printing them like it was yesterday. Maybe someday I’ll go back to my first business and spend the rest of my days tinkering with 914s. Been working in that direction.

MSD still going strong.
This was info on Martys conversion kits for installing Porsche 911 engines in
Vanagons.
In that era I drove one (right off the plane at JFK) built by Porsche.

Hi there, I am so glad there is still at one of those out there! That business was a real labor of love for me, I have had a few more 914's since that closed and am now driving a 97 Boxster. It's a lot like an updated 914-6.

So many of those catalogs look familiar. Remember those happy days before internet shopping?

Syncro (awd) and all of its extra drivetrain weight held the van good & steady in winds, or semi-truck jet wash on the highway. Also had an Aussie (higher) 4th gear in the transaxle. Only problem was windshield wipers getting jumpy at 90+ mph mad.gif

Seeing that Mid-Engineering catalog was a blast from the past. First 914 catalog I got back in maybe ‘87 or ‘88. Seems like a long time ago…I suppose it was.

I can't find my Automotion or Tweeks catalogs. I did find Stoddard, 914 Network and an Automobile Atlanta.

How about Electrodyne from 1975? I can remember pouring over that one while I was “remote” at Sparrevohn AFS AK. Wish I still had that one.
