Getting ready to replace the original, 46 yr-old rear anti-roll bushings (photo) with new ones. Older posts are quite helpful, but have a question:
I presume (?) the rear needs to be on a lift (I don't have) or jackstands (I have) to relieve the pressure on the bar so when the brackets are unbolted the bar doesn't do a hard shift to some unpredictable location?
The prior threads don't mention this; maybe because its so obvious.
Thanks!
