As far as I have heard most 914-4's with factory front sway bars have a 15mm bar. According to Stuttcars and Bowlsby.net the 914-6 had the option M404 which was a 14mm front and 16mm rear bar. Anyone ever seen a 14mm front bar on a 914? Is it a typo? 16mm rear is common but a 14mm front? Anyone have any info?

I have not seen one on a 914 HOWEVER the 911's of the era had 13,14,15 front bars listed in the parts catalog.

All the 914 parts catalogs we’ve ever seen (including an original paper catalog we have) called out for a 15mm front bar, p/n 901 343 703 03.

sway bars were not an option on 914-6 until late 1971. The stock option was 15 front and 16 rear to decrease oversteer. The stock four cylinder sway bars, first offered in late 72 (for 73 2.0 models) was 15 front 16 rear to decrease understeer. The gt parts catalog as Mark said, has the 13 14 15 as well as 11 and 16
