I am not saying to anyone to buy it, mearly report the sale as something interesting to see with the price.

I'm sure that rust was prior to the bare metal restoration.

I've got a feeling the whole market for 914's has just softened in the last 4 weeks and that car wouldn't have brought 15K in a hot market.
I remember seeing that one for sale for a while now, with additional pics. IIRC it was priced even higher, maybe 18-20k? It looks like a nice car, but I'm sure the rust bubbling up is preventing a sale at the asking price.
