Hi,

In the nicest way possible I would like to find out if I should stop relying on the Bird Board? confused24.gif

Over the past year, it seems that there are more dead links than one might expect from a commercial web site.

I buy stuff from them all of the time, but when I look for information it seems that the pictures are no longer connected to the links.

Examples:
https://www.pelicanparts.com/914/914_electrical_diagrams.htm

Click on any of them.

Any guidance????

They removed the electrical diagrams about a year or two ago per Porsche request.

I searched for a wiring diagram last night and got a message that the site was down for unscheduled maintenance. Have you tried to contact anyone there? type.gif

Buy a Prospero's diagram on ebay. They are very good.

They were doing maintenance last night (scheduled or unscheduled). I know they were having some issues with their threads (e.g., screwy page counts). In tech terms, the database may have needed a repair / reindexing. The site came back up quickly though and seems fine to me.

They just don't get that much volume in their 914 forum, and all the questions they do get DD can pretty much handle all by himself smile.gif

Didn't realize they pulled the electrical diagrams at Porsche's request. Here's a web archive of at least some of that content: http://web.archive.org/web/20160329145224/...al_diagrams.htm
