Working on my FI hoses on my 75 Teener tonight and feel stupid but to date I do not see a PCV valve ? Is it hidden ?
Under the car perhaps, I wanted to inspect it or replace it or clean it but at the moment I am clueless.

Perhaps the PO when he removed the air pump he removed the PCV valve, is that possable ?

Is it like an Appendix – a vestigial organ - that you can live without ?

There isn't one on a 75 car due to the air injector set up. The hose off the oil filler/breather goes to the air cleaner port.

Not stupid question. I wondered the same when refurbing vacuum hoses and searching for my (non-existent) PCV valve.

Here's another Q... Sorry if it's a slight hijack:

Puke bottles... help me out here; On a car where the oil filler is vented to the intake, are there adverse affects with just running that to an overflow bottle instead of the air cleaner port? Is vacuum necessary on a desmogged '75 to reduce oil sludging, or does it just need to be vented?

On cars equipped with one it is built in to the oil filler funnel assembly.
