i have ... and i was waiting for ed to call me yesterday on my way back to SLC ...

didn't happen, so i ended up lunching at the airport lounge.
french onion soup and a caesar salad.

btw. my WCC '05 hat scared the s**t out of the mountain lions and bears ...

here's a picture of the lake just over the hill from our camp-site. that pic was taken on the 4th of July. note the lack of tourists. or any humans for that matter ...
the closest outpost of civilization was about an 1 1/2 hour drive from our camp (on dirt roads)

Jeroen, you need to come out here. There is places in Wyoming, Utah, and even Oregon you can drive to, and sudenly you realize you are all alone. Not just a little along either, like if you run out of gas, you better hope someone know where you are to come look for you.

We haven't been to Utah or Oregon, but did the Dakota's, Wyoming, Montana, Nebraska twice
Lots of beautiful places with no people
Funny thing was, we also went to Yellowstone... Getting there was great, but once at the park it was one big traffic jam all day long so we got the f outta there again
