I'm sure that somewhere on this forum there is a thread about cars discovered in field and farm. I'm pretty sure I have seen them but a cursory glance through titles and subjects turned up empty for me. So, here's a contribution and the administrators can feel free to move it if they see fit.

Had to escape the quarantine madness today. Besides, it stopped raining and I needed to charge the battery and fill the gas tank. Saw this little orphan while out in the country. Property owner wasn't home so it will stay a mystery for a while.

One of many. My mother bought that 1972 car in 1975 and drove it about 12 years.

Another. An early 1970 that my father bought in 1979 for $146.00.

My father's 68 911 Targa somewhere in there. Bought in 1980.

68 912 Targa bought by my mother in 1975.

My father's 73 2.0 bought in 2008 or so. He had three other 914 parts cars in his backyard in the 80's and 90's but were gone by the time he passed.

While I'm at the computer doing pictures, figured I'd add my current build. The white car in the rotisserie is one I did back in 2014... put a 993 engine in it.

This guy actually started to part out this 98000 mile TOTALLY rust free 74 saturn yellow 1.8 because it had rear right damage that wrinkled the quarter panel (we have pulled it out now)
Removed the windshield the lenses the rocker panels the carpeting and other "bits and pieces".
Thankfully he had a reprieve and traded us the car for a bunch of parts, so we are saving it.Click to view attachment Click to view attachmentClick to view attachmentClick to view attachment[attachmentid=744
