i think i know why, but why would some one grind off the heads of the flywheel bolts. and in this case i am. do you always replace the flywheel bolts on removal??

Check the depth of your flywheel, guessing it has been cut wrong.

The bolt heads hit the old 4 spring discs if the fly is cut even once. The six spring 911 disc doesn't have this issue.
Well... not as much, cut the flywheel too much and the 911 disk will hit as well. So cutting the bolt heads is still common. I've never had an issue cutting them down, I do it all the time, but I only cut off the ridge.
