PMO recommends NGK BR6ES for carbed with compression over 9 to 1. FYI, Mark

I was amazed, the fakes had a instruction page that looked like it was inexpensively made and the fake one was nicer.

I run NGK in both my /6 and 2.6 T4, but for stock engines I use Bosch.

There are several YouTube vids on this, fake NGK's have been around for a few years.
All kinds of fakes, MSD quit making the original 6-AL because of the flood of fakes.

Have used NGK BP6ES in my stock 1.8L for 40+ years, but haven't bought new ones in several years - just a bit of wire brushing and gap-checking, then back in.
Didn't know about all the fakes; will watch out for them when I do need to order new ones.

Old school Bosch for me. I always try to buy NOS stuff, seems to work for me.
