And because of that - I'm going to make an effort to properly document it's history and the modest tinkering I attempt on the car.

A few facts about me first:
- I'm not a wrench. While my brother is for his trade, I've stayed out of the garage and thus have very few tools and even less skill
- I live in PNW - it rains a lot and that means the cars living in the garage most of the time
- I don't race, in fact I don't even really drive that fast. I'm probably the least suitable person for a 914 but I love the way they look
- My first 914 I bought for 1800.00 bucks when I was 18 years old back in 1990. I spent the summer bringing pizzas to the guys at German Auto Salvage so I could pull better parts off the 7 or 8 teeners they had at the time
- I've got three boys, 10,10,8. If you see me at an event, one will likely be with me
