Porsche made engines for many other applications other than automobiles. Tractors, heavy equipment, aviation and industrial pumps.https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Porsche_engines

In for a set, maybe just add to the back ordered masks?

Surprisingly Porsche had his hands into a lot of things you wouldn’t expect. I want a Porsche tractor!

The WeatherTech floor mat (and other things) company is about 30 miles from me. Stopped in the factory store to get some last year, they apparently are a big Porsche racing group. Along with a race car in the showroom floor is a fully restored Porsche tractor.

You see the tractors come up for sale now and again for about $15k needing restoration

A perfectly legit 356 industrial type engine variant. Do you have the link to the ad?
I need to see the two badge photos in detail.

I wonder if that engine came out of the collection at Dunkel Brothers down in So Cal?

They are way cheaper then that in rougher condition. I paid $1500, but there was one in VT for sale a couple of weeks ago for $6500. Everyone should have a tractor, kids love them!

The New England Air Museum (https://neam.org/) has a Gyrodyne XRON-1 'Rotorcycle' helicopter. Powered by the "55hp Porsche YO-95-2"

I'm a member of the museum, I remember looking at it from a distance, thinking it may be a Type 4. I'll give it closer look and take some photos next time.

@Unobtanium-inc Could you take a picture of the back of your tractor. I've never seen them from anything but the front sides and as a tractor guy always wondered if they had a hitch or drawbar. laugh.gif

Porsche tractor info, F/S, parts suppliers, etc all here. I like the orchard tractors, they're cool looking with the fender skirts, sort of a Dr Who dalik looking unit.
The web master lives within 30 minutes of me, I've meant to give him a visit, just never have gotten around to it.
