Check Ebay.de. Check the Blaupunkt or Becker. Try and find stereo one.

i've just gone through this process, replacing the cheap and dorky sanyo in my car with something a bit more more period and German. after tons of research, i settled on a mid-70s Blaupunkt Frankfurt am/fm stereo. check ebay, but expect to pay a lot for one that's cosmetically and functionally excellent.
a note about the Frankfurts (and some other makes/models): they often feature 6-pin and 7-pin "DIN" plugs in the back, the latter of which is a stereo input plug suitable for an external amplifier or (drum roll....) an ipod/iphone adapter. imagine being able to pipe your Justin Bieber playlist from your modern iphone through a 45 year old radio... that's pretty amazing if you think about it.
