Is there a bracket that holds the pull handle in position? mine is quite loose, it works fine but sort of "floats" above the fuse box rather than being fixed to anything solid

yes and it is secured by two allen bolts, usually comes with the pull handle

thanks George Ill have to rummage through the box of bits and see if there is anything that looks appropriate lurking in a corner

no sign of anything suitable in the parts box Could someone provide a photo please so I can knock something up? I have zip tied it in place temporarily thank you David

I just found it on Sierra Madre parts $160
Jesus H Christ on a donkey, I'll stick with a zip tie
I believe they are refinishing some older parts and selling for $$$ Just place a WTB here and pay $10-20 for the part.
I need one but I'm in no rush so after you get taken care of ...

Look for Garold. He's a member here. Not sure why, but he has all kinds of 914 stuff that he will sell you. Great guy.... He will help you if it doesn't work.
