On the rear targa seal (Sammy Seal or Kerry Seal) how did you guys handle the small side trim peices? They are imbedded in the old seal rubber, so I was wondering if you guys just cut them clean, or where you able to imbed the metal into the new seal? I thought it might make the new seal hold up better if I could find a way to imbed the metal piece.

I just trimmed the side plates down to hold the seal in place.
