That piece of urethane foam goes behind the carpet in the front of the passenger footwell. I that way, I guess it could be called a foot rest. Of course, there is the H shaped footrest seperate.

In late model cars that was the only "foot rest" there was. I took mine out. When asked, I told people that I took out the foot rest. I don't see what the big deal is. Seems like an honest description.

It's foam insulation that goes behind the carpet. It is _not_ a foot rest. And the early cars had it too.
The dog bone was the foot rest.

To me it looks like some sort of ancient artifact. Should of described it as art I bet it would sell then.
