I do this when the engine is cold. I use aluminum foil to cover any electrical components I am worried about, cover the intake or air filters. Then I spray it down with diluted Simple Green and let it sit for abut 10 minutes. Then I spray it down again and use a paint brush to agitate the stubborn dirty areas and then I rinse it off with a garden hose with a fine spray nozzle. Then I use my compressed air line to blow everything off. If you don't have one of those, a regular garden blower works well too. Everything comes out nice and clean. beerchug.gif
