These are Genuine 35 year old German made for left hand drive cars and yes the lenses are very high quality as is the silvering on reflectors.
These are a good buy!

I think the ones you had in the link are non DOT certified. I know new Hella H4 that are DOT are about $80 each. Not sure if they are flat lens or where made.

I have a set of these and still have the boxes
they were DOT for motorcycles only as I recall
not street legal for cars
high quality euro lenses, and were the best lights you could buy back in the day

I have a set of these and still have the boxes
