I have a 914/6 tach that I have for sale. I need to verify that it works.
I was thinking I could put it in my 911sc to verify. I am not sure if the CDI changes (3 to 6 pin) changes the tach output. I don't want to damage it.
Does anyone know?

Yes tach output changes,if I remember early is higher voltage than later ones, won't work without tach adaptor.
