Full Version: Difference Between 1.7 and 1.8 TB Gaskets?

So the intake in my T4 converted Squareback is technically out of a bus, but the motor is a 1.7 914 with domed pistons so it's not completely off topic. The issue is, I'm having a hard time dropping idle down. One of the two intake leaks I've found is the TB to plenum gasket, but I don't know if I should order the 1.7l version or 1.8l version.

Any way to tell between the two or measure the one I have to tell?

The 1.8 is larger. I would have to measure each plenum to get a dimension. Or order one of each.
