$5700

The Good:

1973 Porsche 914 2.0
Appearance package
Original Fuel Injected GA serial number engine (numbers matching to car)
Black vinyl sail panel.
5 original Fuchs 2.0 alloys.
Chrome bumpers with fog lights.
130psi on all cylinders, by my MAC compression gauge.
28psi fuel... fuel pressure gauge in fuel delivery line.
Valves adjusted properly.
Proper green 2.0 injectors with good fuel delivery and spray pattern.
New vacuum lines.
Fuel pump moved under fuel tank.
All electrical works.
Interior in good shape, but is somewhat removed from car. Original seats/carpet, no tears.
3 gauge center console.
5 speed transmission that shifts smoothly in all gears.
Rear Sway bar, passenger drop link needs new bushing/replacement.
New front Targa/A pillar seal to install
Both trunks are solid... no rust.
It has been garage stored and not left in the elements.
Fairly straight body for a 47 year old unmolested car.
All original.
33K miles.

The bad:

Yellow repaint that is faded and not the original yellow.
Typical 914 rust on passenger side battery tray/jack point. Door closes easily.
There is a new battery tray and battery tray support that has not been installed.
Rust/bondo on drivers door channel.
Driver door needs bodywork.
Minor rust in driver side floor panel underneath pedal assembly.
No engine bay fuse/relay cover.
Spotty rust in passenger side front trunk seal channel.
Rust bubble on passenger front fender by body seal/seam... less than the size of a penny.
2" dent on passenger fender from dropping something on it.
No muffler... well, there is, but it has been removed as the muffler is blown out. I still have it.
Yes, it leaks a small amount of oil. Not certain if it is oil cooler or rear main seal.
TTS2 spade broken.
Rear bumper rubber cap rough.
Passenger tail light broken on end.
Small chip in windshield.
Dash has cracks.
Better condition than most for a non restored 47 year old car.

The door panels/carpet/center console are removed... but I have them.
The car purred like a kitten before I took these out thinking of doing a full restoration... life got in the way. So I did a valve adjustment and full tune up, and got something wrong, as it never would stay running after that... Again, it does start, just dies immediately.

If you are looking for a 914, you could probably come with some tools/test equipment and drive it away.

This is a 1973 Porsche 914 2.0 Appearance package that is original and unmolested... other than a bad respray, fuel pump move and 47 years.
I am not in dire need to sell it and it can continue to stay in my garage until I get the urge to get it on the road again. It is presently registered and insured.

Clean and Clear FLORIDA Title in my name.

While I am certain there will be some to critique my listing, please feel free to point out whatever I may have missed. I am not trying to hide anything.
I have been as honest about the car as I can be. I would like to see this go to someone who appreciates these cars... not someone who wants to buy it and flip it on eBay.

I posted the photos that I was able to given the size limit. I am willing to send any additional photos requested.

Thanks for looking!

@nodedulla

good luck with the sale. and oh - love your screen name, LOL! lol-2.gif

i have a guy up here in SC thats looking for a 914 that is running, driving or at least with out lots of work, and does not want it pristine, just stable and safe, this might just be something Eric needs to look at. Where in South Fla are you? i will pass along the ad to him, its in the price range. He actually has a small shop but they only work on 911's lol!

if you can take some clearer pics , better lit, of the jack points and longs that would help you out a great deal, also that hell hole area, is it just surface or rusted thru?

Phil
