It's located about half way up the fuel pump wire harness, over/near the hell hole.

just to be sure....in the engine compartment, or back under car by stock fuel pump location?

It's in the engine compartment, below the battery.

What year is your car?

just finished replacing fuel pump and redoing fuel lines, hot as hell in the garage today....I'm exhausted...so had very little energy left to find the wire.
charging battery now. I'll peek under battery when putting back in car.

this wire provides the info to the temp gauge on console?

was functional a month ago when last drove, so assuming I just knocked it off while replacing pump and working with pump power connection.

Yes, it's a green/black wire for the temp gauge. It's a clear single spade connector body in the engine compaartment
