Hey Guys Post a Picture of What Color you Painted your Tin ... Other then the Gloss Black

Original was a satin black. I like it painted the cars color. Black makes it hard to see
all the hoses and wires.

Good ol gloss appliance white on my old CIS engine.

Satin black. Usually the easiest and cheapest to get done at the powder coating companies since they can add it in on the side to a larger order.

Just had three sets done a couple months ago.
Powdercoat is the best, as it's least effected by spilled gas.

I agree with Bruce! Did mine in metallic blue as close to the color of the car. I like the yellow and the white looks sharp only concern is lite colors will show the dirt sooner?

Pretty much the same as all the black on the car. Suspension, dash, steering wheel spokes, rocker panels, etc.

Looks very clean! I just delivered some tin to be powder coated black and will be looking for guidance on all the required grommets

close to OE flat black but it does have a little bit more sheen. Once in use it should look correct.

I like the makeshift engine stand.

Myth, well maybe there's a couple percent of truth depending more on the pigment type, but that's it.
Most heat from the engine is infrared and transferred by convection not radiation. Paint colour has little to do with heat transfer (infrared).

You Can get powder coat in custom colors.

Had mine powder coated light blue, to match the blue of Martini-stripes.
The car was white, and I planned a Martini themed car.

Then my wife walks up, and wants the car to be Yellow.

Deja vu thread, we just had one of the same. It's satin black powder coat to be correct and withstand the torture, or it's whatever you want. Bright is nice for visibility, color coordinated is cool to an extent. If you deviate, do what you want. Surprised nobody has chromed a set by now.

I'm thinking rust color

Few years back using a Eastwood powder coating gun, and a Craig’s lost used electric oven. Went with silver, and polished the top of the case to match.
