I like the idea of keeping it because of Ron, but I sold my project car and just wont need this one.

but someone... added the temp range I believe..
the screws on the back show its been opened... not original

I do not have the oil temp sensor
I did some research.. and believe the correct sensor would be
200 degree

I painted the benzel
its not beautiful... but looks pretty good once its in the dash
I was intending to use it and cleaned it up for my own use.

I should add
this must be a 72/73 shell. The gauge has accommodations for back lighting... which is the reason I needed it in the first place and why Ron contacted me about it.

So will this work in a 1970? Is the gauge functional or will it requires rebuilding.

Gauge is meant to be lighted like a later car than 1970
