Seems like this has been advertised most everywhere recently. Like the bonus, you get the ancient skis with it.

Was on BaT back in July. Bid to $29,250. Was on ebay with Buy it Now for $45,000. Now- who knows??

Stated as a German delivery - interesting. US side markers but no bumper tits. Also fog or driving lights in the bumper but no manual switch in the dash. I'm assuming they're coordinated with high/low beams. It's close to me in Bevelry Hills - I might try to get over to see it since I have a 74 in Olympic. Looks like a great car but it's certainly made the for-sale rounds lately.

Under “Basics” in the ad, it’s clearly stated “ 5 speed manual”.

That’s only half the story. The car previously sold at RM Sotheby’s in Monterey in August 2019.

It is pretty.

As a fellow Olympic Blue owner, I can say that the color is awesome.

In the CC.com listing it clearly states "automatic". Sotheby's link was 10 hours post my comment. A LOT of money for a somewhat common 914 in both cases.

I was the guy who bid it to $29500 I was the high bidder, however "reserve was not met" the reserve "I was told by the seller reserve was $37000, as the story goes... The owner purchased it on a Sotheby's auction in 2019 for $69000 thinking it was a 32000 mile car, turns out, it's a 132000 mile car as pointed out during the BAT auction. Since then I have contacted the owner a told him my 30K bid is (was, don't need anymore, due to purchasing a 1973 1.7L with 19K original miles for 30K) still valid. He stated at that time he had a buyer willing to pay 50K ! I asked "why would someone pay 50K when it's offered on CL at $45K (at that time) and now it's everywhere for $47500 and has not sold in many many months... It is "clean" but at an unrealistic price for miles driven. IMO sure am glad I didn't meet the reserve. I have a "much" nicer 73 now ! BTW my 71 with a 2.0L running and the 1.7L that came with it is now for sale, "maybe" hit me up, stripped to bare metal, ready for paint... ZERO rust and ZERO repairs, I can prove that with the paint off
I will post in Classifieds "if" I decide to sell
