is there any way to take a leaking pushrod tube seal and do something (short of replacing it) to make it no longer leak?
Mueller
drain the oil

install a vac. pump to create negative crankcase pressure

Just turn this into a bigger maintenance project. wink.gif

Replace the leaking seal. ( Or, go big and replace all the seals ). Change the oil, filter and adjust all the valves.
Spend two or three hours and get some things done.
