Noticed on a friend's 74 Bumblebee yesterday. His dash has the 3 light switches on the left and on the right side there is the lighter and to the right of the lighter is another light switch. He has owned the car since 1978 and has not added the light switch. Any ideas as to what this switch would control? Could pull the switch and check the wiring to see what it controls. Pictures are from my dash, just wanted to give some sort of visual idea. Last picture is what the switch knob looks like.Click to view attachment

Otherwise - rear/euro fog light?

Your green center headlight insert should be orange for a 1974 car.

You mean the Fog light insert should be orange on a 74.

I've seen one on a 6 and it was to the right of the steering wheel. It was for a rear fog light.

Jeff is absolutely correct but, I for one, who has a '74, keep my original orange insert in the glove box and use an early green insert in its place. Reason- the orange insert is just too damn bright and in the face at night. The green insert offers a more subtle night driving environment. Going to a show?- then just pop in the orange insert for originality.
